Get ready to bring your festive ideas to life in this three-week Christmas-themed 3D Printing class! Students will learn the basics of 3D Design and Modeling on Tinkercad, and create new projects every class! By the end of the class, students will take home their very own self-designed Christmas Ornaments! No prior experience is needed to join this class and learn about 3D Printing!
$75/session (4 classes, 2 hours each)
Grades 2-8
Students will:

Use Tinkercad to create 3D models

Get comfortable with navigating around a 3D environment on a computer

Place, edit, and combine shapes to create 3D objects

Learn how 3D Printing works and see some 3D Printers in action
Why 3D Printing?
Critical Thinking
Students learn to develop ideas and fabricate them into a 3D environment, while learning to deal with challenges and obstacles.
Creativity
Kids will channel their creativity and turn their imagination into a reality! They'll work with shapes and assemblies to design their own creative designs!
Engineering Skills
Students learn about the design process and how it's used to create everything around us! Students will learn about important engineering basics as they explore measurements, experimentation, and design!
