3D modeling is the art of creating a three-dimensional representation of any object using specialized software. Once designed, these models can be brought to life using a 3D printer, which lays down material layer by layer to construct the physical object.

Open Session Model for 3D Modeling and Printing

  • Duration: Each session runs for 90 minutes. Students can book longer sessions by booking back-to-back sessions on applicable days. 

  • Explore Leading Software: Dive deep into the world of 3D modeling with Tinkercad, an intuitive, browser-based 3D design tool perfect for beginners, and Fusion 360, a professional-grade tool used by engineers and designers worldwide. Our curriculum covers the essentials of both platforms, ensuring students gain a well-rounded understanding of 3D modeling.

  • Choose Your Projects: While we have a structured curriculum to introduce the tools and techniques of Tinkercad and Fusion 360, students also have the freedom to choose specific projects they're passionate about. Whether it's a custom toy, jewelry, or a household item, the sky's the limit!

  • Guided Progression: Not sure where to start? Our instructors are here to help. They'll suggest projects, assist with the software, and ensure you progress effectively from basic designs to more complex creations.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Sign up for the sessions that best fit your schedule. Although you can book sessions individually, our classes are designed to offer a continuous, building-block approach to learning.

  • All Levels Welcome: Whether you've never heard of Tinkercad before or you're a Fusion 360 enthusiast, our sessions are tailored to accommodate all levels of experience.
