Mix & Match Challenge
The VEX IQ Robotics Competition is a team-based robotics tournament for elementary and middle school students, focused on hands-on STEM learning through designing, building, and coding robots. There is a new competition game each season.
Create It! Factory Turbo V8 teams will compete in the Elementary Division.
Eligible students must be entering 3rd–5th grade this fall, or 6th grade if they are 12 or younger on May 1, 2026.

Why Robotics?
Build & Invent
Kids dive hands-on experiential into designing, building, and coding VEX IQ robots. Learn core STEM skills including Scratch, Python, and C/C++ using the VEX IDE.
Problem Solving
Become a master innovator -- kids tackle complex robotics tasks, developing critical think, analytical intuition, and creative troubleshooting techniques.
Teamwork
Robotics is a team sport! Your child will work with friends to tackle challenges, learn communication, collaboration, compromise, and how to share to achieve team goals.

Competitions
Ready to play and Develop interpersonal skills. Teams test their tactics, learn strategic thinking, resilience, pressure, sportsmanship, and how to adapt and iterate.
Mentored By Champs
Learn from the best! Coached by the award-winning TURBO V8 high school FTC team, kids are exposed to advanced robotics principles, and a clear pathway to STEM success.

Our 2025-26 competitive year starts in August

Meetings: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, 5–7 PM

We've partnered with TurbΩ V8 (FTC Team 14259), an elite, community based high school robotics team from Pleasanton. They bring real-world competition experience and a passion for inspiring young engineers directly to our VEX IQ students. They also provide mentorship for your child's long-term growth in competitive robotics.
